Description

This workshop is a follow-up to prior training on Project-Based Learning and will address how to integrate authentic purpose into this instruction model. Workshop outcomes include: 1) Participants will be able to discuss ways to integrate authentic purpose into project-based instruction, 2) Participants will be able to demonstrate their learning by sharing projects and reviewing student work with their colleagues.

Speaker

Dr. Tim Kubik, Project Arc, LLC.  Dr. Kubik's arc of professional learning spans 21 years of teaching in primary through post-graduate learning environments.  His experience includes leadership of interdisciplinary grade level teams, department chair, and Associate Head of Upper School.  

Who Should Attend?

Teachers and administrators from HSTW implementing and exploring sites.  Prior knowledge of PBL is helpful but not required.
